Junior Java Developer

Responsibilites
Be a fast learner of the systems, business flows, development and release processes
Development of new features and components for Banks core investment platform
Participation in the estimation and planning process(requires continuous study of the business domain for effective collaboration with customer)
Participation in requirement analysis
Mentorship and supervision of less senior developers
Communication with customer on business requirements, technical solutions etc.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
- Ability to understand the task, the context, implement in code and release a change
- Strong Core Java experience
- Strong knowledge of the OOP/OOD principles, algorithms
- Experience with usual development tools (GIT, Idea/Eclipse etc.), RMS (Jira/Confluence)
- Experience with Unix, bash, SQL scripting, regex
- Multithreading experience is a plus
- Good communication skills
- Upper Intermediate English
- Experience in Investment Banking is a plus
- Experience with ION trading platform is a big plus

You will be working on the systems that form a core strategic platform for Fixed Income trading. The development team is distributed between Kiev, Krakow, Wroclaw, Singapore and UK. Successful candidate will want to work as part of a global team, and understand the business and flows involved as well as just the technology.
