For our Client, international IT organization, based in Wroclaw we are currently looking for both, Junior and Senior Specialist for the position of Network Engineer.
Duties are dependent from experience and position. Company provides training.
- Install, maintain and evaluate network systems and communications;
- Troubleshoot simple network issues with diverse scope;
- Assist with network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies;
- System operations, maintenance and documentation in accordance with compliance requirements as well as quality assurance and development of standards;
- Support the implementation and operations of Cisco OTV and other stretched LAN protocols;
- Monitor the WAN, WLAN and LAN environment and proactively react on any issue;
- Must have extensive knowledge of Internet, computer, routers, switches, firewall, etc;
- Gain exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function;
- Work is generally directed by team leads;
- Quickly adapt to changing scenery and logistics.
Requirements:
- University degree in related technical(Computer Science, Engineering,)/business areas or equivalent work experience;
- Good English language skills;
- Understanding of infrastructure services including: DNS, DHCP, and SMTP;
- Experience in support and manage Cisco Networks, Certification on Cisco CCNA would be preferred;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and efficiently handle multiple projects with shifting priorities;
- Excellent analytical/problem solving and troubleshooting skills in both structured and unstructured environments and;
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Willing to work shifts (8 – 22), sometimes weekends from home support.
