The Remote Framework is Nokia´s customer connectivity solution and connects internal Nokia employees to our customers for providing manual and automated services. The Remote Framework focusses on secure connectivity, legal compliance, export control and data privacy compliance and is a part of a complex echo system to realize that.
The Remote Framework contains several software components/subsystems that interact with variety of applications as well as users (Nokia engineers) by producing a service such as human access to telco equipment. Service automation is the clear focus for the future. The platform is globally distributed and serves users from many datacenters around the globe.
Technology used varies, depending on component/subsystem, today in scope are MS platforms, Linux distributions (mainly RedHat) and Openstack or NCIR cloud systems.
You will be the primary focal point between the Global Services Delivery Excellence organization and Nokia product teams. You will take the requirements from the Service Business Owners and interface with the product teams to obtain the technical information required to extract key data from Nokias network management systems and network elements. You will build successful relationships and follow product roadmaps and versions changes, verify data collection requirements and raise feature request towards network management products.
- Masters, Bachelors or equivalent degree in Engineering, Telecom, Computer Science or Software Technology
- excellent Network Management System (NetAct) knowledge, Specifically Configuration Management, Performance Management and Fault Management knowledge, 5yrs experience
- Northbound (CORBA, SOAP & REST) Interface specification knowledge, 3yrs experience
- experience of 2G/3G/4G Network Systems, 3yrs experience
- ability to analyze technical documentation, identify and extract relevant information
- Project Management experience
