Nokia aims to provide solutions for mobile operators which enable faster deployment of new technologies in telecommunication networks. In our department we are responsible for coordination and delivery of Single RAN product to end customers. Single RAN is a platform that allows all technologies to work under the same hardware. Quality is treated as the most crucial dimension of our project and currently we are looking for a Quality Manager who would actively contribute to big scale project (~3000 R&D engineers) and drive product quality to meet market standards. You will be a part of the multicultural team of managers set in Wroclaw, working with our R&D distributed worldwide.
As a Software Quality Manager in Single RAN Product You will be responsible for:
- creation of Program Quality plan
- definition of Program Quality targets
- execution adherence to program quality criteria
- coordinating, tracking and reporting program quality targets, KPIs, in-process measures and goals
- contribution for Key Milestone declaration process and veto handling
- driving program quality KPI deep dives
- conducting and deployment of Lessons Learned
- partnering with Software Teams to complete root cause analyses ensuring appropriate corrective & preventative actions are defined & implemented
- ensuring Program Risk Management is in place and working well
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology or Computer Science
- more than 5 years of experience in mobile technologies development or testing also with direct customer contacts
- excellent managing and team managing skills
- excellent problem solving and risk management skills
- good networking skills in an international environment and ability to work with different cultures
- good knowledge in mobile communication including GSM, WCDMA and LTE technologies
- fluent English (both written and spoken)
